2024 Updated Eligibility Rules for SRD Grant

The eligibility rules are changed for SRD grant in 2024. Now the applicants must stay updated with the latest 2024 rules before applying for the grant. Here are the updated terms and conditions of the SRD R370 grant:

  • Only South African residents with ID cards/green cards can apply.
  • Asylum seekers and special permit holders are also allowed for this grant.
  • The applicant has to pass the means test where the net income should not exceed R624 per month.

  • The age is 18 to 60 years.
