  • Wait for Confirmation: First things first, make sure you’ve received confirmation that your R350 grant is ready for collection. This confirmation could come via SMS or email, depending on the communication method you provided during your application.
  • Check Pick-Up Point Availability: Ensure that the pick-up point you’ve selected (Pick n Pay, ShopRite, Boxers, Usave, or Checkers) offers cash collection services for the R350 grant. Not all stores may provide this service, so it’s essential to confirm beforehand.
  • Bring Necessary Documents: When heading to the pick-up point, make sure to bring along your South African ID or any other identification document specified by SASSA. This is crucial for verification purposes.
  • Locate the Collection Point: Once you’re inside the store, head towards the designated area for cash collections. This area is typically near the customer service desk or at a specially marked counter.
  • Provide Confirmation Details: Approach the staff at the collection point and provide them with the necessary confirmation details, such as your ID number and reference number, to verify your eligibility for the R350 grant.

How to Get R350 in a Bank Account?

If you have added your banking details while submitting the SC 19 application then your payment will be deposited to that bank account automatically. You do not need to visit any SASSA office or branch. SASSA will deposit your R350 payment directly to your bank account.

However, the payment can take 2 to 3 working days before appears in your bank account.
